Perched directly on the shores of Lake Washington, this stunning residence was designed to blur the line between indoors and out, capturing the essence of lake life from every angle. Our goal was simple: bring the lake inside, both visually and experientially—through design that enhances the view, the light, and the lifestyle.

On the lake-facing side, we reframed the entire elevation to incorporate floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall NanaWalls—a breathtaking system of fully operable glass walls that completely open the interior to the water’s edge. When open, the lake becomes part of the living space; when closed, the expansive glass maintains an uninterrupted connection to the view.

Above, a third-floor deck off the master suite offers a private retreat with panoramic views, enclosed in frameless glass railings for a clean, modern finish. This deck was built with a membrane system as it’s also the roof for the family room below! Added a striking new clear cedar tongue-and-groove soffit, extending warmth and texture overhead.

The home’s exterior is clad in smooth panel concrete siding, giving it a bold, minimalist edge that complements its natural surroundings without distraction. Inside, we elevated the existing architecture with custom cable railings for the floating stairs—combining safety with transparency to preserve light flow and visual openness.
